First Surf Comp- North Wai

Arlia competed in her first competition for surfing, at North Wai a couple of weekends ago. Her and Belle were in two heats against each other. First heat, Arli placed third and second heat she placed 2nd. 

Unfortunately she didn't make the final, but placed 4th in the Under 14 competition.  Not bad for a 10 year old. Proud Mum 👏 

Day at Mt Hutt

I went to Mt Hutt for the first time and I went all the way up the six seater! Mum, Alan and Belle came with me. When we were up the mountain,  Belle hurt her foot. There was a man up there and they did CPR on him. He died up there. On the way home we stopped and got wedges. They had onion in them! 

My First Surfing Season- Arli

When I first started surfing, my second wave I stood up but I was facing forward. Soon my next wave I stood on my board properly. After that I started to love surfing lots then I started to get better. A couple weeks later mum got me my own surf board but it was a foam one. Then after I got better Alan got me a glass surf board. So I hope that next season I will get better. The places that I have gone surfing are Sumner, New Brighton, Gore bay and Waikuku Beach.
